The NOBU dresser rejects the rectangle entirely. Its top is a soft pill shape — two full radii joined by straight runs — carried on a deliberately asymmetric base: a broad cylindrical column on one side, a slim tapered leg on the other. The imbalance is the point. Walk past it and the piece reads differently from every angle, which is exactly what a dresser sitting against a long bedroom wall needs to do.
A pale inlaid reveal runs the full width beneath the top, separating the surface from the drawer front and catching light along its length. The drawers open on a recessed pull cut into the underside, so the front face stays completely uninterrupted.
The companion mirror is a tall, narrow arch on a slender wood frame, proportioned to sit centred on the dresser top without overwhelming it. Sold together as a matched pair in the same veneer and finish, the two pieces work as a vanity in a primary bedroom or as a statement console and mirror in an entry.
Both pieces are made to order. Specify the veneer, the finish colour, and the dimensions — the dresser can be lengthened or shortened, and the mirror scaled to match, so the pair fits your wall rather than the other way around. Drawer configuration can also be changed on request.
